The Scotts Bluff County Assessor is now in the process of investigating why 5,151 valuation postcards were sent out with the wrong valuation numbers.
County Assessor Amy Ramos told county commissioners about one third of the total postcards sent to property owners had the numbers transposed for current value and previous value.
