It was early morning, April 13, 1892, four hundred armed citizens of Buffalo, Wyoming had laid siege to the TA ranch for the past four days. During that time, heavy gunfire from the angry citizens had pinned down 25 hired gunmen from Texas along with 50 prominent Wyoming cattlemen who had hired them.
