|Summit road celebrates 75 years|

The public is invited to Scotts Bluff National Monument on Saturday, Sept. 15 to help celebrate the 75th anniversary of the summit road.
A ribbon cutting ceremony takes place at 8 a.m. and vintage cars will make the trip to the summit. That afternoon at 1 p.m., there will be cake and a chance for people who remember the building of the road to share their memories.
