KYS Foods management and staff were joined by Chamber Ambassadors last Friday to officially open their Asian beef jerky processing plant.
KYS had been operating in San Francisco for more than 30 years, but started looking for another location because of high utility rates and other costs. Another challenge was that the neighborhood had grown into an upscale section of the city, making expansion impossible.
