|County board approves funding for patrol cars|

Scotts Bluff County Commissioners approved, in part, a request by County Sheriff Mark Overman, to authorize the purchase of new sheriff’s patrol cars to replace two aging models.
The sheriff’s original request was for $61,500 to purchase the new cars. One of the revenue sources was $45,000 in unused insurance claims from vehicle damage in last summer’s hailstorm. Another $73,000, which had been accumulating for about 10 years, was ...
