Sixty-six entries took to the road last weekend for the 25th running of the Sugar Valley Rally. Except for some windy weather, it was a great weekend.
“People come out from all over to see all the classic cars,” said Rally Committee member Darrell Bentley. “It was really rewarding to see so many people who showed up for lunch on Sunday as the drivers came in.”
In addition to all the perennial drivers who come year after year from around the region, this year’s entries were from states from California to Vermont, and from North Dakota to Texas.
“I’m especially thankful for all the volunteers who make this possible,” Bentley said. “They help out with every detail, from the Thursday check-in to the Sunday checkout.”
