In 1909 Felix Alston was the Sheriff in Big Horn County, Wyoming. Four years before his death in 1956 at the age of 87, Former Sheriff Alston began a handwritten manuscript detailing his investigation of the Ten Sleep murder, known also as The Spring Creek Raid. The manuscript titled ‘The Tensleep Raiders,’ along with several of Mr. Alston’s personal effects, has recently been donated to the Wyoming State Museum in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Sheriff Alst...
