Gering coach changes up tennis team, sees results

Lupher and teammate Jason Doll were moved from the No. 2 and No. 1 singles teams and paired up as the No. 1 doubles team last week, taking second place at North Platte.

After the Sept. 6 Scottsbluff Invite, Gering boy’s tennis coach Justin Reinmuth said he would be changing up some of the positions to improve the team’s performance entering the Sept. 13 North Platte Invitational.

The invite included a 10-team field, with several schools competing in Class A. Participants included Alliance, Gering, Scottsbluff, Lexington, Holdrege, Kearney, McCook, Grand Island, North Platte and Hastings.
