Frank Implement, a familiar name in the valley for several decades, will soon become part of 21st Century Equipment.
Frank Implement has John Deere dealerships in both Scottsbluff and Torrington, Wyo. Early next year, they will become part of the 15 current 21st Century Equipment dealerships in Colorado and Nebraska.
“Bryan Frank and I have been discussing this for some time,” said Owen Palm, CEO of 21st Century Equipment. “We’ve gotten to the point where we’re comfortable in announcing it to the public.”
The focus of 21st Century Equipment has been on precision agriculture and technology and that expertise will be brought into the Frank Implement organization. Under their new name, the Frank Implement dealerships will continue to sell John Deere equipment. Included in the acquisition is Frank’s leasing function, Panhandle Acceptance Company.
“From the standpoint of parts inventory and used equipment, this will give the people at Frank access to inventories that are many times the size of theirs,” Palm said. “This will improve the service to their customers.”
The official date for the acquisition is set for Jan. 8, 2015. Frank Implement’s Scottsbluff and Torrington facilities will join 21st Century Equipment’s Colorado dealerships in Holyoke, Sterling, Burlington, Yuma, Flagler, Wray, Akron, Cheyenne Wells and Ft. Morgan. Dealerships in Nebraska include Alliance, Bridgeport, Gordon, Imperial, Ogallala and Sidney.
