|County opposes pot bill|

Scotts Bluff County Commissioners have gone on record to oppose LB 189, a bill currently before the Legislature that would reclassify marijuana.
The bill would revise the definitions of marijuana under the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Its purposes is to provide law enforcement more clarity in enforcing possession of edible food products infused with tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the active chemical in marijuana.
