|Locals get relief for road funding|

A state-level change in how county and city roads projects are funded is always welcome, but some local leaders have said it doesn’t solve the overall problem.
Last month, Gov. Pete Ricketts and Kyle Schneweis, the director of the Nebraska Department of Roads, announced a change that will direct an additional $3 million in road funding to Nebraska counties and first-class cities to help fund road improvement projects.
