Concerns over a possible line-item veto of funding for the Cultural Preservation Endowment Fund were for not as the veto failed to materialize. Last week, Gov. Pete Ricketts signed the state budget bill, including funding for the arts.
The original bill, sponsored by State Sen. John Stinner of Gering, would deposit an additional $500,000 per year into the Cultural Preservation Endowment Fund for the next 10 years. The proposed bill...
