Fun in the mud
     2012-06-07      By The Gering Citizen
A mud volleyball tournament is slated for Saturday, July 14 during this year’s Oregon Trail Days celebration. The tournament will be held at Five Rocks Amphitheater with the City of Gering hosting the event. Team entry fees of $40 will go to benefit Gering’s 125th Anniversary fund. The hope is that the event will continue year after year, becoming an annual highlight of OTD.

The tournament is being sponsored by Mike’s Husker Stuff. For any questions, or to register a team for the mud volleyball tournament, contact Rebecca Shields at (308) 641-4018. Entries are limited to 12 teams. More details will be announced as they become available through the Oregon Trail Days facebook page or the official website at oregontraildays.com.
