Mitchell man earns Doane football honor

CRETE — Nick Kuxhausen was honored with the Bert Knapp Trophy for football, an award that was established in 1940 by Herbert S. Knapp to stimulate scholarship as well as football prowess among the members of the Doane football team. The award is made annually to the football player who is judged most valuable by his coaches and who has maintained high scholarship during the season.
