Gering PVC 12, Wheatland 9
The bats were busy at Gering, NE on Wednesday, and when the dust cleared Gering Platte Valley Companies had a 12-9 win over Wheatland. The teams totaled 23 hits, including six extra base hits in the game.

Grant Rimington racked up two RBIs on two hits for Gering PVC. He singled in the seventh and eighth innings.
Colin Chatterton got the win for Gering PVC despite allowing nine runs over nine innings. Chatterton struck out two, walked four and gave up 11 hits.

Gering PVC 1, Beatrice 5
Zach Smith both hit and pitched well for Gering Platte Valley Companies, but it wasn't enough as Gering fell to Beatrice 5-1 at Crete, NE on Thursday. Smith had two extra-base hits for Gering PVC. He doubled in the second inning and tripled in the fourth inning.
Zach Decker recorded the win for Beatrice. He allowed one run over seven innings. Decker struck out five, walked four and gave up five hits. Beatrice didn't relinquish the lead after scoring one run in the second inning when it scored on an error.
Gering PVC scored its only run of the game on a groundout by Josh Burgener in the fourth inning.
Beatrice built upon its lead with three runs in the fifth. A clutch ground out scored Derek Clausen to open the scoring in the frame. That was followed up by Chance Baumann's single, scoring Decker.

Gering PVC 8, Pleasant Dale 7
Nathan Marquez collected three hits, sparking Gering Platte Valley Companies to an 8-7 victory in seven innings over Pleasant Dale on Saturday at Crete, NE.
Colin Chatterton got the win in relief for Gering. Chatterton pitched two-thirds of an inning and allowed no runs.

Gering PVC 1, Elkhorn Mt. Michael 4
Grant Rimington did all he could to give Gering Platte Valley Companies a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Elkhorn Mt. Michael, as Gering PVC lost 4-1 in seven innings at Crete, NE on Saturday.
Rimington had a hot bat for Gering going 2-3 and scoring a run. Danny O'Boyle was a workhorse on the rubber for Gering PVC. O'Boyle allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk while striking out four over seven innings of work.
Clay Taylor got the win for Elkhorn Mt. Michael. He allowed one run over seven innings. Taylor struck out four, walked none and gave up six hits.
The first inning saw Gering score its only run on the day on an RBI single by Zach Smith.
Elkhorn Mt. Michael brought home one run in the fourth inning, and matched that run total in the sixth. In the fourth, Elkhorn Mt. Michael scored on an RBI single by Mark Loeffelholz, scoring Tom Walter.

Gering PVC 4, Gretna 7
Danny O'Boyle went 2-4, but Gering Platte Valley Companies still fell to Gretna 7-4 in seven innings on Saturday.
Trevor Lerting got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out seven, walked one and surrendered nine hits.
Gretna jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. Alex Kramer started the rally for Gretna with a single. A stolen base then moved Kramer from first to second. It didn't take long for Gering to respond as it scored one run of its own in the first. Gering scored on an RBI triple by Zach Smith.
Gretna went up for good in the third, scoring two runs on an RBI double by Zach Mowinkle and an RBI single by
