2012 Scotts Bluff County Fair - PRCA Rodeo
     2012-07-26      By Gering Citizen
Get in on the action this year by attending the Scotts Bluff County Fair PRCA Rodeo. Cowboys and cowgirls from all around the region will be showing their skills at horsemanship in this annual competition. Until 2011, the Scotts Bluff County Rodeo had not hosted a professional rodeo since 1986. Last year the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) returned to the area. Riding under the PRCA banner it is hoped that some of the top names in rodeo will enter. The PRCA is the most visible association for professional rodeo. Everybody that enters the association is required to earn a certain amount of money doing rodeo. The Scotts Bluff County PRCA Rodeo will be held Friday and Saturday, July 27-28 at 7 p.m. at the Scotts Bluff County Fair Grounds in Mitchell. Box seats are $100. Adult tickets are $10; children 6-12 years old, $6; ages 5 and under are free.
