PRCA Rodeo champions give exciting show

The results from the Scotts Bluff County Fair PRCA Rodeo:
Bareback Riding - 1st Place- Jordan Dennis Pelton of Halliday, N.D. with a score of 70 points; 2nd Place- Blake Smith of Zap, N.D. with a score of 55 points; 3rd Place- Tate Schwagler of Mandan, N.D. with a score of 52 points.

Steer Wrestling - 1st place-Wade Sumpter of Fowler, Colo. with a time of 4.0: 2nd place- Dean Gorsuch of Gering, with a time of 4.4; 3rd/4th Place – Jesse Jolly of Agate, Colo. with a time of 5.0; 3rd/4th Place- Logan McDonald of Alliance, with a time of 5.0.

Team Roping- 1st Place- Paul Beckett of Laramie, Wyo. and Seth Hall of Albuquerque, N.M. with a time of 4.7; 2nd Place- Andrew Ward and Reagan Ward of Edmond, Okla. with a time of 6.0; 3rd Place- Jeff Johnston of Thedford, Neb. and Dustin Harris of O’Neill, Neb. with a time of 6.2.

Saddle Bronc Riding- 1st Place- Chuck Schmidt of Keldron, S.D. with a score of 79 points; 2nd Place- Cole Elshere of Faith, S.D. with a score of 77 points; 3rd Place- Dalton Davis of Holcomb, Kan. with a score of 76 points.

Tie Down Roping- 1st Place- Riley Pruitt of Gering, with a time of 8.3 seconds; 2nd Place- Joe Schmidt of Belfield, N.D. with a time of 9.1 seconds; 3rd Place- Paul David Tierney of Oral, S.D. with a time of 9.5 seconds.

Bull Riding- 1st Place.- Allen Auer of Whitewood, S.D with a score of 72 points; 2nd Place- Justin Andrew Ellis of Thermopolis, Wyo. with a score of 63 points; 3rd Place- Jordan McAllister of Gering, with a score of 56 points.

Barrel Racing- 1st Place- Fallon Taylor of Whitesboro, Texas, with a time of 17.53 seconds; 2nd Place- Paige Conrado of Hudson, Colo. with a time of 17.62 seconds; 3rd Place- Kelly Kennedy-Joseph of Berthoud, Colo. with a time of 17.66 seconds.
