Bayard Boys, Girls defeat Leyton

It took two overtimes for the Bayard Tigers to beat the Leyton Warriors at Bayard on February 9, 60 – 57.

Spencer Jobman led the Tigers with 22 points, followed by Nate Rice with 17 points and Alex Coon with 12. Ryan Parriott added five points, and Mikah Schmall had two points.

For Leyton, Brennen Cruise, Sam Schumacher, and Dylan Brenner had 12 points, Garret Westman had 11 points, and Chad Cruise had 10.

For the girls, Whitney Marquez led the Lady Tigers to a 42 – 31 victory over Leyton. Marquez had 20 points, 15 of which came off of three pointers. Megan Stuart had nine points, Ashley Willey had seven points, Kayla Vera had four pints, and Kaylyn long added two points.
