Morrill Lion girls end nine-game winning streak at state

Pictured is the championship Morrill High School Lion girls basketball team after winning the Class C-2 district championship. The girls fell to Aquinas Catholic in the first round of the state tournament on Thursday, March 3, at Lincoln East High School. The Lions finished the season 22-2 after a nine-game winning streak on the way to state.
