WNCC to hold soccer camps
     2013-07-11      By The Gering Citizen
SCOTTSBLUFF — Western Nebraska Community College will hold two soccer camps from July 22-26 for area players. Both camps will be held at the Landers Soccer Complex, north of Scottsbluff.

The first camp, for recreational players, will run from 9 a.m. to noon. This camp costs $90. There will also be a camp for players under the age of eight from 9-11 a.m., which costs $75. A camp T-shirt and ball is included. The aim of the morning camp is to help players of all ages with their soccer abilities. The campers will have fun and enjoy planned creative activities as well as small-sided games.

The second camp during the week will be held from 5-8 p.m. for advanced, competitive players. The camp costs $90 per player and includes camp T-shirt and camp ball. The aim of this camp is to help players fine-tune their soccer abilities in a more competitive arena. The camp will be more intense than the morning session.

The camp will be conducted by men’s and women’s soccer coach Todd Rasnic along with former and current Cougar players.
For a camp registration form, visit the Cougar athletic website at wncc.edu. Contact Coach Rasnic at (308) 635-6150 or rasnicT@wncc.edu for more information.
