Gearing up for softball

Photo by Elizabeth Gross/Gering Citizen - For most young softball players, it all began with T-Ball. The Gering Girls Softball Association is holding registrations now for Gering girls of all ages. 


GGSA sign ups happening now

Gering Girls Softball will be holding their registrations for girls ages 5-18 on March 13, 18, 20 from 6-8 p.m. at the Gering Jr. High Cafeteria. All girls ages 5-18 welcome. For more information contact Jamy Lawson at (308) 672-0132 or Brody Gies at (308) 641-7549.

Umpire Clinic scheduled

There will be an Amateur Softball Association slow pitch umpire clinic on Saturday, March 22 from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Gering Jr. High Auditorium. The cost is $35. Contact District 1 UIC Jamy Lawson at (308) 672-0132 for more information.
