Dodgeball Tournament to benefit United Way

BRIDGEPORT — The Prairie Winds Community Center in Bridgeport is hosting a Dodgeball Tournament to benefit United Way of Western Nebraska. The tournament is on Saturday, April 5 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Five-person teams will compete in three divisions: junior high and under, high school, and open. It’s a double elimination tournament with each match the best two out of three games. The entry fee is $10 per person, and $11 after April 4.

Prizes will be awarded for each division winner, best dressed teams, and a trophy for the most valuable player in each division.

There will also be prize for the “Last Person Standing Event.” After the tournament, everyone who wants to play will be divided into two teams and the last person standing walks away with all the loot.

The concession stand will also be open from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. during the event.
