Justin Scott from Gering, Neb., son of Lynda and Jeff Scott, finally agreed to participate in the Scottsbluff Soap Box Derby after his uncle Chris Olsen had been asking him to.

Sponsored by Cozad Signs, Scott had his first two soap box derby races on May 21 and May 22.
Deciding to race was well worth it for Scott as he placed second in his first race, and took first place in his second race.

Scott’s next Soap Box Derby event will be in Ogalalla on June 4. After a tremendous start, Scott will have an opportunity to have a repeat performance in which all first place participants in this race will automatically be qualified for a spot in the National Derby in Akron Ohio.

Cozad signs have been and will continue to be a great support as Scott hopes to dash his way to victory.
