Gering’s 4x400 relay team of Ryan Schwartzkopf, Aaron Pierce, Caleb Geary and Dillon DeMott are currently ranked first in the NSAA Class B standings and third overall in all classes with a record time of 3:25.58. Here, the team set the record at the Mitchell Invite on April 10. With two state-ranked 400 meter runners in Schwartzkopf, who leads the state in all classes with a time of 49.25 and DeMott, 7th in Class B at 50.84, the team shows no signs of losing steam.
