The races continue to heat up at Hi Way 92 Raceway Park

A car goes through tech inspection after a race at HI Way 92 Raceway 
GERING - The engines were roaring and the tires were burning rubber Friday night at Hi Way 92 Raceway Park. Here are the results for the June 3 races.

Trophy Dash winners for the night were Alan Strawn in Bumble Bees, Brent Holliday in Super Stock, Phillip Holliday in Sports Man and Randy Avolio in Karts.

In the Bumble Bees heat race Alan Strawn came in first, Rick Leib in second, Brittany Kampbell in third and Justin Rider placed fourth. The main event in Bumble Bees had Kampbell coming in at first, followed by Strawn in second, Leib in third and Rider was fourth.

In the Karts heat race John Bibbey finished first, followed by Mike Denham in at second and Randy Avolio came in at third. The following racers finished fourth through ninth respectively: Doyle Denham, Brandy Kessler, Dean Cress, Leo Denham, Alan Cress and John Fowlkes. In the main event of Karts it was Randy Avolio who took first, John Bibbey came in at second this time, and Doyle Denham finished third. The following racers finished fourth through seventh respectively: Mike Denham, Brandy Kessler, Leo Denham and John Fowlkes.

The Sportsman heat race had Joni Cowan in first, Scott Long in second, Phil Holliday in third and Christopher Buskirk in fourth. Cowan finished first once again in the Sportsman main event, followed by Long in second, Holliday in third and Buskirk in fourth.

Super Stock heat race was won by Brent Holliday in first, Ricky Fisher in second and Adam Kampbell in at third. The following racers finished fourth through ninth respectively: Kacy Buskirk, Kyle Austin, Terry Jessen, Heather Urwin, Miller Brothers and Clarence Hayes. In the main event it was Holliday who finished first, followed by Buskirk in at second and Fisher finishing third. The following racers finished fourth through seventh respectively: Terry Jessen, Kyle Austin, Clarence Hayes and Miller Brothers.

Don’t miss the action tomorrow night at Hi Way 92 Raceway Park. The races begin at 7 p.m.
