With bases loaded Sidney balked and Brester scored. Nate Ferrerya grounded out but this allowed Quentin Timblin to score. Nick Ferrerya singled and sent Bibb across the plate. Gering closed the inning when Hernandez scored on an error.

Sidney scored their only two runs in the top of the fourth. Nate Ferrerya made one last score in the fifth when he crossed home plate on a wild pitch. The game ended after 5 innings due to the 10-run rule.

The winning pitcher for Gering was Barge with 1 strikeout allowing no walks and five hits. Nick Ferrerya, Nate Ferrerya, and Hernandez each had two hits. Quentin Timblin and Elijah Timblin had one hit.

On Saturday Gering traveled to Ogallala and brought home a 3-1 victory. No one scored until the top of the third when Nate Ferrerya singled to left field and drove home Bibb. Nate Ferrerya reached first on a dropped third strike allowing Barge and DeMott to score. Ogallala made their one score in the bottom of the sixth inning.
