Andy Pepler Memorial golf tournament this weekend
     2011-07-07      By The Gering Citizen
SCOTTSBLUFF - Scotts Bluff Country Club will be hosting the Andy Pepler Memorial 2 Person Best Ball this Saturday and Sunday, sponsored by Runza and B&C Steel.

This tournament proudly honors Andy Pepler’s spirit and determination to succeed, as well as his willingness to get involved with others and impact their lives. Andy was loved by many and is missed every day. The character Andy showed inspired many to be determined, work hard, and refuse to lose.

Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Special Olympics, Scottsbluff County Coyotes. The Coyotes are young athletes with disabilities that compete in organized sports including: basketball, volleyball, softball, swimming, track, and bowling, just to name a few. Your contribution to the Pepler Memorial will insure that these young athletes have opportunities to participate for many years to come.

If you would like to contribute to this great event as either a Major Sponsor ($500) or Hole Sponsor ($300), please contact Jim Reinhardt at 308-631-2221.

The event starts off tomorrow with practice rounds. Saturday the Tee Times will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch will be provided by Runza Restaurants. Saturday’s dinner is provided by Scotts Bluff Country Club. Sunday Tee Times will be from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided by SBCC.

There will be giveaways, day money, hole prizes and Hole-in-One package as well.
