Senior ladies participate in Torrington golf outing

TORRINGTON—The Panhandle Senior Ladies Golf Association held its latest outing at Cottonwood Golf Course in Torrington. The team of Gail Magers, Beth Korell, Terry Korell, and Norma Perkins took first place. Joy Eberhardt, Margaret Lienemann, Dee Vogel, and Donna Engleman took second and captured two birdies, while the team of Terry Espinoza, Claudia Benda, Alene Schilz, and Chris Lapaseotes took third. Coming in fourth was the team of Ellen Ramig, Judy Daum, Donna Meier, and Jill Wozniak who also collected one birdie.

One birdie was also scored by the team of Linda Gunia, Myrna Carroll, and Julie Walworth. Vogel, Espinoza, Walworth, and Connie Booth had hole outs. Longest drives went to Espinoza, Gunia, B. Korell, and T. Korell. Hole prizes went to Magers, Espinoza, Schilz, Lapaseotes, Engleman, Vogel, Phyllis Greenwood, and Bev Lee.

The group’s next outing is August 25 in Sidney. Please call (308) 254-2311 by Wednesday, Aug. 20 to register for play. New members are welcome to join anytime during the season.
