Senior golfers play Torrington

The Panhandle Senior Ladies Golf Association held their latest outing at Cottonwood Golf Course in Torrington.

Finishing in first place and scoring two birdies was the team of Gail Magers, Claudia Benda, Beth Korell, and Lois Bare.

Second place went to the team of Terry Espinoza, Joy Eberhardt, Daria Faden, and Margaret Lienemann who had 3 birdies. The team of Sheri Dobrinski, Dee Vogel, Alene Schilz, and Pat Rogers finished in 3rd place and had one birdie.

The team of Terry Grosz, Myrna Carroll, Donna Engleman, and Chris Lapaseotes had one birdie as did the team of Mary Nielsen, Bonnie Childs, and Sally Plover. Also scoring one birdie was the team of Londa Maron, Jerry Mathistad, Julie Walworth, and Rose Jacoby.
Long drives went to Vogel, Plover, and Bare. Gina Briggs, Judie Brighton, Terry Korell, Karen Koch, and Magers all had hole outs.
Hole prizes went to Jane Holechek, Jeannette Fitzgerald, Brighton, Rogers, Lienemann, Vogel, Lapaseotes, Dobrinski, and Bare. The group’s next outing is Aug. 24 at Hillside Golf Course in Sidney. Please call 308-254-2311 by Aug. 19 to register.
