Bearcats Brad Johnston was integral to Scottsbluff’s success this season. Johnston (22) plows through tackles against Lexington. That night, the 205-pound senior ended up with 73 yards on 13 carries including one touchdown as Scottsbluff rolled blanked Lexington, 41-0.
Last Friday, the Scottsbluff Bearcats lost to the Gretna Dragons, 42-28, on the road in the first round of the Class B state playoffs. The Bearcats ended their season with a respectable 6-4 record. Gretna moves on to the second round to play the Aurora Huskies tomorrow night.
